TestWorks Group and subsidiaries PTP Software and Sapcote Engineering have been acquired by i3 Group Solutions, the specialist industrials manufacturer and integrator. The Testworks businesses in Letchworth and Dunfermline will continue with the design, manufacture and test systems for complex electronics within the EDMT division of i3 Group. Sapcote Engineering will form the Advanced Manufacturing Systems (AMS) Division and design, manufacture, install and service Factory Production Systems and specialist Robotics and Automation solutions. Both divisions will be supported by the newly created i3 Group Design which incorporates PTP, engineering consultants specialising in bespoke hardware and software, test & measurement and control solutions.
